the Birdfeeder...

Appears to have become a bird feeder. All evidence points to a visit by the neighborhood Sharp-shinned hawk, and the remains of his lunch. I am fairly certain Eurasian collared-dove was on the menu today.

The sharpies hunt us too now and then. They like members of the dove family on this coast as well, usually mourning doves.

Oooh! He is a fine specimen.

We had a wee goldfinch trapped in the buggy barn a few days ago--he finaly figgered his way out, but mah heart wuz a flutter until he did.

Must be lovely up thar'.
