shredded wheat, sort Of

Ready for winter, our cattle ranching friends have stockpiled hay to feed their stock. The big rolls always remind me of Muffets shredded wheat cereal from childhood. Favorite, favorite.

I love looking at stacks of hay. It must be the Van Gogh in me. Have you ever seen that painting? -- I think it's called haystacks. We see lots of haystacks, too, in Belgium whenever we visit. They are scenic to look at from a distance on a hillside.

Mega-Muffets ! these appear seemingly overnight in fields around here, but I have never seen how they are actually MADE ... someday...

Rob, I hadn't seen the Van Gogh, but I googled when I read your comment. Cool. There is a similar one done by Monet.
